Ingredients

Scale

1 pound trimmed broccoli florets

1 cup flat-leaf parsley leaves

1/4 cup olive oil

2 Tablespoons toasted pine nuts

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese


Instructions

Cook broccoli in a large pot of boiling salted water until crisp-tender, 2 to 4 minutes. Transfer to a plate to cool slightly.

Place oil, pine nuts, Parmesan cheese, parsley, and broccoli into a blender in the order listed and secure the lid.

Turn the machine on and slowly increase the speed to medium-high.

Blend for 30 seconds; if needed, pause the blending and scrape down the sides until smooth and blended.

Notes

To make this recipe plant based/ vegan/ dairy free, use dairy free parmesan cheese

To make this recipe candida friendly, use dairy free cheese
