Healthy Blackberry Peppercorn Dressing

I make Blackberry Peppercorn Dressing a LOT because it goes so well with everything. My family loves it on my recipe for an easy pork tenderloin, which is so simple to make. The dressing is the perfect sauce to make it look restaurant fancy and taste like a five-star restaurant quality!

Making your own dressings at home is a great way to elevate any dish’s flavor without investing in expensive ingredients. One of the most popular and easy-to-make dressings is sweet and savory blackberry peppercorn dressing, which can be used on salads, vegetables, meats, fish, and more. This easy dressing combines the sweetness of fresh blackberries with a hint of cracked pepper for an interesting flavor blend that will make all your dishes stand out.

The beautiful thing about making your own is you can adjust the flavors to fit whatever you’re making, so you can make it sweeter and spicier or even use different types of berries if you’re feeling creative. Plus, it’s often much healthier than store-bought dressings since you can control how much fat and sugar goes into it.

What are the two main ingredients in a vinaigrette?

This dressing is made such as a vinaigrette by using olive oil and vinegar. I up it a notch by using feremented apple cider vinegar, and a good quality extra virgin olive oil.

Can I use a food proccessor instead of a blender?

Absolutely! You can use either one because both options have an opening in the top that you can slowly incorporte the olive oil. I am obsessed with using the Vitamix blender because it makes it a smooth velvety consistancy! It can be pricey, but it is worth the investment. Mine has lasted me 7+ years and still works amazing!

How long can I store Blackberry Peppercorn Dressing?

You can store this in a glass jar with a lid for 7 days in the refridgerator.

What if I can’t find Chinese 5 Spice?

You can still make this recipe without the Chinese 5 Spice. I have made it before when I didn’t have any on hand and it was still amazing! However, you may want to get yourself some Chinese 5 spice becuase it is amazing on grilled chicken, vegetables and stir fry’s! You can try this brand from Natural Plus Green Inc.
